Seaside paradise with a lot of sunshine

Child-friendly beaches and shallow waters, comb the cliff coastland and the pebble beaches looking for flotsam and jetsam, hunt for rocks and throw a skipping stone, or why not discover the sea stacks in Byerum with their mystical cliff formations, shaped by the powerful sea. Whether populated beaches where you can find activities such as beach volleyball and windsurfing is what you are after, or a little secluded bay for swimming; Öland is the perfect vacation alternative for you.

There are at least 50 spots for swimming on Öland. For example on the eastern side, in Bödabukten, you have the island’s longest stretch of sandy beach, nearly 20 kilometres long.
